With her roots in Wisconsin, our photographer and illustrator Katie grew up beneath smaller hills, where she learned to find intrigue in the most humble details. Katie is passionate about working on projects that value the intersection of expression, the outdoors, and the celebration of adventurous lifestyle. Whimsical, story-driven imagery that’s got heart and soul and great color is her thing. With a background in photojournalism, Katie has learned to be the documentarian, but is unafraid of embracing her artistic sensibilities to color outside the lines. As both a photographer and artist, Katie feels fortunate to have two crafts that inform one another and keep her inspired in every moment. She’s also a dog mom, skier, backpacker, mountain biker, sometimes trail runner, and will always love a good canoe trip.
